R.I.P HEAVY D

<img src="http://assets.podomatic.net/mymedia/thumb/1114246/600x600_5330323.jpg" alt="itunes pic" /><br />Damn son, another legend from our heyday is gone. We joined the last world week in a collective "WTF?" when we heard that the heavster had passed. Dwight Arrington Myers along with "the Boyz", a group which included G-Whiz (Glen Parrish), "Trouble" T. Roy [R.I.P] (Troy Dixon), and Eddie F (born Edward Ferrell) dropped five albums during the 90's. Of late, Heavy had begun to relaunch himself as a reggae artist, sadly he's gone...which is f**ked up, because we got an MP3WAXX email with his new joint like 30 minutes before we heard. We haven't even gotten into his IMDB credits...google that if your in the dark, and then come back...we'll wait). Anyways, we pay tribute the only way we know how...a dope episode.

We salute you sir, rock on!

When he first split from N.W.A, some wondered how he would fair as a solo artist. He showed everyone when he dropped Amerikkkas Most Wanted, which saw Cube take his craetivity to new heights. Over the next 2 years, he dropped consistently solid albums, keeping as "real" as one could on record. From there he made Friday (which we loved) and then continued his foray into the movie scene. He may make kid movies now-a-days, but we thought it fitting to take some time out and reflect on how HARD Ice-Cube used to be. Salute to the G. SUBSCRIBE

The South Jamaica Queens group, consisting of Mr. Cheeks, Freaky Tah, Spigg Nice and Pretty Lou had a string of hits that propelled them into the spotlight. Unfortunately Freaky Tah was shot and killed in 1999. The crew tried to move on, but could not find the same chemistry that once existed. Spigg Nice was later booked for a string of bank robberies in NJ, and was sentenced to 37 years in jail. Mr. Cheeks found some success as a solo artist. This week we pay homage to the Lost Boyz, and bang the gems that made our heads nod back in the day. Rest in Peace Freaky Tah! SUBSCRIBE! SEASON 3!

Let's take a minute and show respect to the kid Joey Crack, the fat gangsta. Big Up south BX! SUBSCRIBE!
